Our Counselling Service
All our counsellors practise client-centred therapy. We aim to provide a psychologically safe space for you to explore any issue and to share any life experience with a trained counsellor.
How can counselling help?
To resolve a personal problem
To relieve distresses related to body or mind
To reorganise one's life after a loss or a change
To discover a meaning for life
To help your relationships become more mutually satisfying
To help improve your functioning at work
- To realise untapped potentialities
The counselling process can facilitate greater self-acceptance and can support you whilst you make changes in your life. We suggest that you come for an initial series of counselling sessions to give the therapeutic relationship an opportunity to be established. You can then choose whether to continue with counselling for as many sessions as you want. Or if you feel you have resolved the issues that brought you to counselling you can end your sessions at any time. You can return at any time to see the same counsellor if you so wish, which can be reassuring - a psychological 'safety net' eliminating the need of having to start over with a new counsellor.
